USA Golf Tours

USA - Las Vegas Golf Tour

Las Vegas and its surroundings are host to several exceptional golf courses and we play four of them on this tour, Wynn, Desert Pines, Shadow Creek and Wolf Creek.

It is testament to the foresight and skill of two of the worlds greatest golf course designers that these stunning courses were created from the barren Mojave Desert.

We love this city with its fantastic hotels, superb nightlife, great food and bars, and there are a few casinos too!

  • Welcome to the only golf course on the strip. The 129 acre site is enclosed by over 100,000 plants and 8000 trees. It really is hard to believe you are in the centre of Vegas.

The course is manicured to perfection with natural marshland areas, three lakes and streams that cross the course, water is in play on twelve of the eighteen holes.

The service and facilities are top drawer, from free loan Callaway clubs, fully stocked buggies, PGA member caddies and on course food outlets.

Wynn splits opinion with those at the top of their game, however, when in Vegas it is all about enjoyment and fun and this is a must play on our tour.

  • Desert Pines Golf Club is only fifteen minutes from the strip and off the back boxes it is a 6222 yard par-71 layout.

It is a mature course with many pine trees lining the fairways, the greens are medium sized, some two tiered and are all beautifully maintained.

Favourable client comments were the on-course drinks service with beers and cigars too, and a Deliveroo style food service from the clubhouse kitchens delivered on course.

Fantastic two-tiered fully automated driving range and the two practice greens make this a first-class warm up facility.

  • An American top 100 golf course and rightly so in our opinion. It is hard to believe that Shadow Creek was sculpted from a flat 300 acre tract of Nevada desert into the stunning golf course that it is today.

From the hotel limo collection to your arrival, the on course and off course facilities, the attention to detail and level of service from the staff, is exceptional.

The fairways and greens are kept in a manicured condition, the holes cleverly concealed from each other, playing through the pines on one hole and on the next your vista is the Nevada mountains.

  • Wolf Creek with its 360-degree vista of the red rock mountains, desert, ravines and steep cliffs, is one of the most stunning backdrops that you will play golf against.

It is widely regarded as truly unique, where some tees sit 100 feet above the fairways and the buggy tracks are regarded as the steepest anywhere in world golf.

Course maintenance is exceptional which is some achievement given the rollercoaster nature of the layout and design.

It may not be the ideal for a purist, but we include it on this tour as everyone who has played it, loves it!

USA Private Jet Golf Tour

This is a unique golfing experience taking in some of the most iconic and top 100 rated courses in the world. You will be playing US Open, Ryder Cup, and PGA Tour courses, travelling in your own long haul private jet, staying in superb accommodation and being hosted by a team that knows a thing or two about private touring.

  • This oceanfront golf resort on Kiawah Island is a wonderful experience and a cracking opening course on this tour. Bordering the Atlantic ocean, the next stop to the east is Europe!

Kiawah’s pedigree was ratified shortly after its official opening in 1991, when it hosted the 29th Ryder cup and it has since hosted the PGA on four occasions, most recently in 2021.

It is always sensible to remember that you can be playing a 5-6 club wind if it is really blowing in off the ocean.

Then it is back to the stunning clubhouse and superb hospitality. It is a special experience relaxing on the terrace with a gin and tonic in hand, sampling Carolina’s finest larder, and gazing out over the Atlantic.

  • We fly into Farmingdale on Long Island from Carolina to play Bethpage Black, regarded as one of the finest municipal courses in America.

It is rightly ranked as a Golf Digest world top 100 golf course having hosted the US Open in 2002 and again in 2009, and will host the Ryder Cup in 2025.

It is a monster track off the back tees at 7465 yards and in our opinion the sensible option is to select a forward tee unless you are a low single figure handicapper.

The routing in parts is through acres of woodland and with narrow fairways, an array of monumental bunkers, and many well-guarded greens, you should bring your A game here.

  • Designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1998 Whistling Straits sits on the western edge of Lake Michigan and is one of the most iconic golf courses in the world. It has hosted three PGA Championships and the Ryder Cup in 2021.

The course is well routed in two figures of eight, both sitting along two miles of lake frontage. The outward nine heads to the south and the inward nine to the north.

The golf course has more bunkers than any other in the world. One survey back in 2010 prior to the PGA Championship, counted 967, with 102 of them on the 8th hole! Clearly being straight off the tee is a big help!

Regarded as a global top ten by many who play here, we are pleased to include Whistling Straits on this unique private jet tour.

  • There are very few golfing experiences that are as memorable as Pebble Beach Golf Links. Sitting on the south side of the Monterey Peninsula and facing the mighty Pacific Ocean, there are few vistas in world golf that can equal this.

The run of oceanside holes above Carmel Bay from the 4th through the 10th are quite simply outstanding, as are the closing three holes.

The iconic 111 yard 7th hole is probably one of the most photographed holes in the world, and standing on the tee, it is impossible not to be taken in by the views.

Pebble Beach joins the Old Course in St Andrews in our top three bucket list must play courses.
